Newsflash

So Trish and I had our first experience scuba diving in Sosua.  The Dive Master took us out to 3 Rocks and took us down to about 35 feet.  We got to feed the tropical fish some bananas and got to swim around the reef.

I fell in love with the whole experience.  Trish was not a big fan, but she did VERY well and I am so proud of her for at least trying it.  Next step, certification!

Weird how time flies!

So I was uploading some new pics and realized I hadn't even been to our site since OCTOBER!

There has been WAY too much going on in our lives.  Work keeping us busy, kids activities running us to the ice rink 3 and 4 times a week.

Birthday parties, vacations, competitions,  family reunion coming up.  I don't know when I am going to get to relax or sleep ever again!

Adrianna had an exciting Ice Skating season, won 15 medals and 1 ribbon.  She went  to nationals in St. Louis with her synchro team and they took second place!  The great part of that story is that she threw up 2 minutes before they went on the ice and skated better than I have EVER seen her skate!  WHAT A TROOPER!

She had her 5th Birthday, is registered for Kindergarten, and will be going to Denver in July for WORLDS!

Stone is getting BIG and SO Smart!  He was in his first Ice Show in February and skated like a CHAMP.  He was the "Star of the Show"   He wants to play hockey.  Mama and I are not overly excited about the idea of him checking or getting checked, but that won't happen for a few years and he will have pads on!  I guess it is probably safer than letting him walk around the house without a helmet!  :)

Anyways, gotta get to work, another update will be coming in the next 12 months... hahaha

2007 Spooky Weasels Haunt in NKC!

October, my favorite month of the year.  What is there to not like about it.  Weather is great, leaves are changing, Halloween is rolling through, and we have our annual hanuted house in North Kansas City.

This year we decided to have it in Brian's 3 car garage as we lost 2 weekends to my Dominican Republic vacation.  Building in the garage gave us 4 good walls and a roof that we didn't have to build.  It was a challenge as we had less room to work with.  We had to squeeze 11 years of props and scares into a geographically smaller area.  Somehow we made it happen!  The results were nothing short of SPECTACULAR.   Check out the pics over at the Spooky Weasels home page!

In addition to the usual fun of the Haunted House, we were lucky enough to have Tess Koppelman from Fox 4 news come down and do an exclusive live feed from the front of the house!

Pics taken during the live feed

The video on Fox 4's Site! Check out Shannon!

Thanks go out to Tess and Fox 4 for all their time and effort.  We look forward to next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
